STI is a distributor of engine, drive train and fuel treatments produced by QMI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), a Fortune 500 company. QMI has been a leader in specialty lubricants for the automotive market for over 20 years. QMI products are sold principally by tire stores and lube centers. STI has an exclusive license to sell QMI products to the surface transport industries including trucking, bus and ship fleets. Escalating fuel costs, combined with EPA mandated low sulphur diesel fuel and emission standards have created a large market opportunity for QMI products for trucks, busses and ships.
